Welcome to the historic Kirkstyle Inn, Dunning, where everyone from Lairds to laymen are welcome. In 1716 the pesky Highlanders burnt the village to the ground. The pub was since built and we hope we will do justice to it and all the custodians through the ages.
Historical Dunning has an Iron Age fort, a 1st Century AD Roman Camp and the 12th Century Norman Tower of St Serf, where St Serf is said to have slain a dragon.
The area also boasts the magnificent nine-foot Dupplin Celtic Cross.
Today we offer fine wines, excellent ales and food that should surprise. Traditional in appearance with the best of Scottish hospitality, roaring fires, proper old furniture, that you might want to take home! The finest spirits produced in this country and from overseas.
